I'm newly single, how do I get out to find dates?

I just got divorced recently, and I haven't the slightest idea how to date. My husband was my first boyfriend, love, partner, so I'm not all too sure what to do. Do I got to bars with friends? Or try out online personals? I'm a little lost here. Any help, "referrals", or online dating links would be great. Thanks.
