Which financial advisor would be best? Bank (Chase) or A.G. Edwards?? I don't have time to follow myself?

My husband has gone through 4 job changes in the last 15 years and we have retirement stuff all over the place. Want to consolidate into one with a fnancial advisor we can trust and can talk to. I know I saw something on Consumer Reports years ago. and I know that generally Chase Bank does not have the best of reputations, but that is where we ended up banking. I live in Colorado.
