"Banned Book Week."..What are your Opinions?

why is it banned again, i remember when the banned where the red fern grows, that was in the 90's but to kill a mocking bird, my son has to read this and he is a high school freshman honors, a great book, i had to listen to it a tape for me easier, but i enjoyed it, did they also ban the catcher in the rye yet? another good book. good luck with the report and let us know how it went.
