For a Wells Fargo checking account, will I be penalized if I have less than $100 in it?

My mother has been telling me that each time I go under $100 in my bank account, she gets penalized and she has to pay $10. I just want to know if this is true? I've tried to look around the internet and so far, I've seen that the minimums are quite low.
